Nivola is an illustrator and a visual artist with a degree in Environmental Sciences and a Master’s Degree in Graphic Design. She studied Artistic Drawing at the Sorolla School of Paintings in Valencia.

She does illustrations for books, campaigns, animation, own graphic work, murals, recently comic books as a freelancer and delivers numerous illustration and creativity workshops. Her stop motion animation piece “Life for the moment” was a finalist in the 2014 City of Palma d’Animació Award.

She has illustrated more than twenty books which were published in English, Spanish, Catalan, German, Portuguese and Swahili and have received various awards in Spain and the US.
